Travelers typically base in Gulmit or Passu and walk or drive to shoreline viewpoints; seasonal boats offer a closer look at the flooded valley walls. The setting is dramatic but facilities remain basic - bring layers, sun protection, and confirm road status after heavy rain or snow. Pair easily with Passu Cones, Hussaini Bridge, or a Central Hunza overnight.
