The story
Sheosar is the signature water stop on many Deosai itineraries rather than a standalone long-haul day trip from the plains. Combine with Deosai Plateau walks and a Skardu base (Satpara is a lower warm-up lake nearer town). Access is strictly seasonal; confirm road opening before leaving Skardu. Treat swimming as unsafe in cold high water and respect park camping rules.
