The story
The classic approach leaves the Karakoram Highway at Raikot Bridge, climbs by jeep to Tato, then continues on foot through forest to open meadow camps with direct Nanga Parbat views. Beyal and higher base-camp walks extend the same corridor for stronger hikers. Services are seasonal and basic - book lodging in peak months and carry layers, headlamp, and a buffer day for weather. Pair content pages with the Fairy Meadows trek and Nanga Parbat base-view entries for route detail.
