The story
Most visitors base in Shogran and jeep up to Paye for viewpoints and short meadow walks rather than overnighting on the ridge. The plateau is busier than remote Swat or Astore meadows in peak domestic season. Combine with Kaghan Valley or Naran itineraries if continuing deeper into Hazara. Confirm jeep status after rain or early snow before committing to a late afternoon run.
